Who we are

Genetic History S.L.U. is a Spanish company (CIF B24962573, Registro Mercantil de Barcelona Hoja B-646398) incorporated in December 2025. We operate the YFull phylogenetic tree (yfull.com), a consolidated Y-DNA reference with twelve years of bioinformatics operation and a geographic footprint across 67+ countries.

Genetic History extends the YFull infrastructure into the B2B integration layer: distribution of the ancestry-narrative module for European clinical laboratories with NGS capabilities.

What we bring to the market

• Research-grade tree depth. The YFull Y-DNA tree updates at a faster cadence than common academic references; ≈ 200,000 Y-SNP branches and ≈ 20,000 mtDNA branches (as of 2026-04).
• Twelve years of operational pipeline. Neural-network-based genetic-error filter delivering 5–10× error reduction relative to baseline (2023 business plan).
• AI-assisted multilingual narrative generation. Narrative layer with anti-fabrication discipline: no claims beyond facts backed by tree evidence or curated population-genetics sources.

• yfull.com: parallel B2C channel within the same corporate perimeter, with separate accounting.
